Frequently asked questions

Is Vero a medication reminder app?

Yes. Vero includes medication tracking and reminders on iPhone, including Apple-approved critical alerts for time-sensitive reminders. It is also an AI health assistant — so your meds sit next to labs, nutrition, and Apple Health data instead of living in a silo.

How is Vero different from Medisafe or other pill reminder apps?

Dedicated pill apps are excellent at timing and adherence. Vero’s wedge is continuity: the same assistant that reminds you about a medication can also help you understand a related lab result or answer a question with your profile and Apple Health context. If you only need a standalone pill timer, a specialty app may be enough; if you want meds inside a fuller health picture, Vero is built for that.

Does Vero check drug interactions?

No. Vero is not a drug-interaction checker and should not be used to decide whether medications are safe to combine. Interaction and dosing questions belong with your pharmacist or clinician. Vero helps you organize your regimen and discuss educational questions in context.

Can Vero send critical medication alerts?

Vero has been approved by Apple to use critical alerts for medication reminders when you enable them. Critical alerts can break through Focus modes for time-sensitive reminders — you control notification permissions on your device.

Does medication tracking require a subscription?

Vero is free to download. Medication tracking and reminders are part of the app experience; AI chat and lab uploads have free monthly limits with Pro for higher usage. Check the App Store or in-app paywall for current details.

Vero is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never start, stop, or combine medications based on an app alone — talk to your physician or pharmacist.
