1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Vero ("the App"), operated by Vero Health, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Medical Disclaimer
Vero is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is an informational tool designed to help you better understand your health data. All content, including AI-generated responses, is for informational and educational purposes only.
You should always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any decisions about your health, medication, supplements, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by the App.
In case of a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately. Vero is not designed for use in emergencies.
3. AI-Generated Content
Vero uses artificial intelligence to generate responses based on your health data and questions. While we strive for accuracy, AI can produce incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content may contain errors and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for health decisions.
- Responses are personalized based on data you provide but are not a substitute for clinical evaluation.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated content.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Vero. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
5. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App as a substitute for professional medical care or emergency services.
- Provide false or misleading health information to the App.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Share your account or AI-generated responses as medical advice to others.
7. Health Data
Vero may access health data you provide directly (such as lab results and health profile information) and data from connected services (such as Apple HealthKit). This data is used solely to personalize your experience. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vero Health, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages resulting from:
- Health decisions made based on AI-generated content.
- Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in App content.
- Unauthorized access to your account or data.
- Any interruption or cessation of the App's availability.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may discontinue use at any time by deleting your account.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
