- Vero does not diagnose, prescribe, validate a clinician's diagnosis, or replace professional interpretation.
- Vero is not guaranteed to detect or alert you to every urgent or critical result. Do not use it for emergency monitoring or to delay care.
- One result rarely tells the whole story. Symptoms, fasting status, medications, age, history, testing method, and repeat results can change the interpretation.
- Reference ranges vary by laboratory and population. Use the range printed on your own report and your clinician's judgment.
- Source citations let you inspect supporting educational material; they do not mean every generated answer has been reviewed or clinically validated.
If a laboratory or clinician has contacted you about a critical result, follow their instructions. Seek emergency care for severe symptoms or any emergency rather than waiting for an app response.
Privacy, with the important details
Sensitive health fields are encrypted on your device before cloud sync; traffic uses TLS and stored health data uses AES-256 encryption. Vero does not sell personal information or use identifiable health data to train AI models. AI analysis is not zero-knowledge: after you grant consent, selected uploads and health context may be sent through Vero's servers to AI providers at inference time. You control what you upload and which Apple Health categories you authorize.
